Emaar’s Act One|Act Two, nestled in the heart of bustling Downtown Dubai, is just a stone’s throw away from the world’s biggest shopping mall and tallest tower.
As if The Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa weren’t already enough for Act One|Act Two’s residents, to the right of the development is Dubai Opera, the city’s dazzling culture and entertainment jewel.
With such close proximity to Dubai Opera, residents are guaranteed year-round world-class entertainment options right at their doorstep. The iconic multi-feature development, whose design is inspired by the traditional Arabian dhow, is set to host some of the world’s most incredible performances in the coming months.
To name just a few: The critically acclaimed Les Miserables is poised to grace the breathtaking venue’s stage from November 10 to 24, and in February 2017 — conveniently starting on Valentine’s day — audiences will be wowed by the multiple Tony award-winning show, West Side Story, which will be making its GCC premiere.
If residents are opera fans, in the meantime, they’ll have the added advantage of three magnificent performances in September alone: the Pearl Fishers by Georges Bizet; the Barber of Seville by Gioachino Rossini, and Opera Without Words, all performed by Italian musical ensemble Fondazione Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi di Trieste.
That’s not to mention Dubai Opera’s focus on propping up local and regional talent. Award-winning Emirati pop superstar Hussain al-Jassmi, whose videos have garnered more than 240 million views on YouTube, will perform at the venue’s concert hall in October.
Dubai Opera, which pays homage to the United Arab Emirates’ rich maritime heritage, is uniquely multi-purposed, serving either as a theatre, concert hall, or banquet and event hall, allowing it to host a variety of events with the ability to seat up to 2,000 people.
Music aside, living at Act One|Act Two will also give residents the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Opera District’s surrounding open, green spaces, which are scattered with lakes and other water developments.
If dinner and spectacular views are what residents are after, they’ll be able to dine at Dubai Opera’s spectacular rooftop restaurant and sky garden, which offer sweeping views of Dubai’s dancing fountain, the world’s biggest of its kind. The fountain’s water jets as high as 140 meters as it dramatically sways to seminal international and regional pop and classical music hits.
Speaking of The Dubai Mall water fountain, the Act One|Act Two towers were designed to embody and reflect its dynamic features. The exterior facade mimics the fountain with its vertical steppings, and the property’s roof terraces and balconies are varied, providing unique views of the surrounding areas and giving the aura of a wave.
The two towers are connected by a podium, offering residents a unique visual experience when they cross from one to another.
After busy days out and about in Downtown Dubai, at home, residents will be greeted with serenity and style in spacious properties ranging from one to three bedrooms. The interior of the towers are both contemporary and stylish, offering neutral, modern and minimalist designs.
Act One|Act Two is the perfect combination of versatility, culture, style and entertainment.
